Thats great! I know, from my experience of teaching, kids learn a lot better ehwn they are encouraged and cheered constantly, and she looked really really happy practicing! awesome!!! there is a great youtube video on writing 大 (dai/ookii) Big, its really good for Kay i think!!! check it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWpbD8_lAk4 Dazu

Kay's 3y6m old, but because of my classes, she's been practicing her writing skills since she was 2y6m. so, she's really good at tracing and using a writing utensil right now. it also helps that she LOVES tracing lines. :D

sometimes i think that because we give her so much attention that it'll be difficult for her when she starts school. like i'm afraid that she'll be one of those kids who ALWAYS wants the teacher's attention ^_^;;

thanks for the link! i've already sent it to my hubby, so he can add it to her Japanese youtube playlist! :D

What a great job Kay did. She seems to be doing so good writing her numbers in kanji. And her daddy sounds so very kind. : )

Also noticed Kay's Pretty Cure shirt. She will fit right in when she gets here. They are so popular here for yochien age little girls. There's new ones coming out soon. My friend the Jogo-san...her daughter is in the same class as Noah. And she was mentioning something about it. : ) So new ones for you to remember coming soon, maybe? I have the same thing with Pokemon with my boys. ; )

thanks Gina! hubby treats her like all dads treat their little girls: like princesses! sometimes he treats her better than me ^_^;;

Kay loves the characters even if she has never seen an episode ^_^;; we get the anime here in Taiwan, but i don't let her watch too much TV and it's in an inconvenient time slot. thanks for the tip about new ones coming out, i'll have to look into that so Kay doesn't get left out of the loop! ^_~
