The only reason that I'm interested in Mardock Scramble is because it is written by Ubukata Tow who is also Fafner's scriptwriter and I love Fafner to death ♥♥♥

I've never seen Fafner, but Mardock Scramble is incredible. I wasn't really expecting much other than something pretty once I finally got to watch it (sob why do the DVD releases take so long? I want to buy the second movie already!) and I was really impressed.

Ubukata Tow is awesome and I am sure that everything he creates is just made of awesomeness ♥ you should watch Fafner, too! Btw, what is Mardock Scramble about? Aside from the similar skimpy suits (with the one in Fafner), I know almost nothing about it (^^;)

I've only read/watched Chevalier, which was fun but not as OMG EXCELLENT as Mardock has been. What's Faftner about?

It's about a young girl who's been abused and turns to prostitution who is then murdered by the man she thought loved her. She gets the chance to more or less be reincarnated in a superhuman body. It's basically her story of coping with what's happened to her while kicking a lot of ass. It's very emotional and IMO it's done really well.
Also, adorable mice.
