mardock scramble quickly worked its way to close to the top of my everything list- the movie is stunning and it's a great adaptation of the first of the three novels. it's just so touching and realistic emotionally. everyone should go watch it like right the fuck now.
p.s. the mardock manga kind of sucks.

birds this was an accident. i had opened up the image in photoshop and then realized that there were birds in it.
foreign language a boiled egg. the character's name is a shortened version, oeufcoque. everyone in mardock scramble is named after eggs. (ha ha, scramble)

set: panorama i'm not happy with this set at all. i wanted it to be more colorful but i couldn't make anything work with oeuf's radioactive yellow glow. welp.
set: ac i was planning to be really lazy and just icon screencaps, but most of the caps i took just didn't translate well to icons so instead i wound up recoloring a lot of the caps or at least adding highlights. time wasted: lots. i tried adding a maximum shadow to dr. easter's face and i just could not make it work. /)_(\
