I haven't seen anything like that around here before.

As for the Draft, we are currently at war with an organization simply known as the Third Party. Whether you want to or not, if you are on the draft list the Malnosso post, you'll be forced to fight them outside of Luceti. How that works, I cannot tell you. I have not been sent out myself since my arrival.

Is there no means of simply signing up to battle of our own will. Or do they carelessly decide to pick anyone by throwing a dart at the name. [She was already informed how they send out people who can't fight, which makes this all the more irksome.]

That's common sense. I don't see any reason to trust people who trap us here and make us fight wars that we aren't supposed to be involved with. Toleration is the best approach.
