Catholic Feast Days

On the feast day of a particular saint (normally only the better know ones, like St. Peter or St. Francis, or perhaps a parish's name sake) Catholics will have a special mass, which consists of a regular mass with perhaps a special prayer or reading in their honor. They might even erect a temporary shrine in their honor. For the bigger, more "modern" churches, that's about all you'll get.
However, very often small towns (this is very common in Europe and hispanic-America) will a have their own patron saint. On and around said feast days, they'll have a grand festival, with lots of decorations, parades, numerous effagies of the saint, sacrifices, perhaps even fireworks. It's often just a throw-back to that culture's pre-christian traditions, now just centered around a catholic saint.
I want to go to her feast for sure, but there are two obstacles. The first is that I have no ride and the second is that I told Kat I'd go to Cazuela's around 7 because it's her birthday. Seeing as Cazuela's is literally a block away, this shouldn't really be a problem time-wise, as I can always go to that for a little bit and then maytbe get picked up by anyone going to your thing.
I have been informed that both tesinth and Maggie will be attending, so you might be able to get a ride with one of them, so contact either/or and see if they can bring you.
