*grins* Yeah, actual schoolgirls just aren't my style.

Now, someone who is closer to my age and dressed as a schoolgirl? Well, I suppose something could be arranged.

Hocus Pocus = hoc est corpus. . .

Dang, I didn't see this until 4:03. *!%%&!*

Next year when you celebrate, go to Mass first, THEN have the dinner. ("Feast" means something slightly different from a Catholic calendar than most of us consider it.)

Oh. See, it's hard to celebrate a saint when you've never been Catholic :)

It didn't even occur to me that an actual religious ritual would be involved. . . But then, since the Catholics have Masses for everything, I should have known. I figured that they'd just want to eat.

:)

Oh, well: future reference. Next Dec. 4, I think I will work in Mass somehow.

Did I totally miss something? You have patron saints? How does this work, exactly? (I know you're a Chaote, but still)

Well, St. Gulik is a roach. And a Discoridan Five Star Saint, and Apostle of Eris. [NOTE: Blessed St. Gulik the Stoned should not be confused with Sri Syadasti, who is not the same person but is the same Apostle.]

St. Barbara, on the other hand, is a perfectly acceptable, respectable Catholic saint. I decided that she was my patron saint after listening to one too many Jimmy Buffett lyrics, one of which is "Please Saint Barbara / Save our miserable skins!"

Mostly, I just kinda like her and think she's cool. Plus, I'm all about the lightening and artillery associations.
