I successfully managed to get the dark gray dash swapped in Tuesday and tonight I washed up the engine bay and swapped the driver's side doors back to the original ones. On 29 August 2008, my dad and I drove down to Waverley, NS to purchase and transport a parts car for my MX-6, Julie, whom had suffered a catastrophic engine failure. So, I've been working franticly lately to fix the Van of Fail to use for a camping trip to PEI this weekend. When we purchased the van in March it only needed a head gasket (which is why the owner was selling it; 3.8L Windstars eat head gaskets like candy). What's been happening lately? 

• Working along at the day job. Was delighted to find out that I get paid weekly for this gig, hooray!
• Not home much these days. Pretty much going to work, hanging out with Amy in the evenings, coming home to sleep.
• Cell phone out of commission for the foreseeable future, ugh.

So, with the new summer job inspecting roads I tend to do a lot of walking. In the span of 5 working days we've inspected about 94 roads, which is approximately 10% of the city of Saint John. To see how much walking we did in an average day, I activated my phone's pedometer. It clocked me in at 10.1km of walking today. Yikes!
