I know what you mean about the homework haunting you. It consumed my thoughts and life. When I was not doing homework, I felt extraordinarily guilty for not doing something. I hated it immensely. For me, I mostly buckled down, forfeited my existence to school, and kept my eye on the end of the quarter. Staying busy and focused like that, while exhausting, made the time go by quicker. The crazy part was that I enjoyed what I was studying a lot, but I was completely done with the homework and grading aspects of school.
I think if you can find some direction that you like with your graduate school career, that will help things too. It will give you more of a goal.
I know this all sounds easier said than done, and for the most part it is, do not lose hope. Keep with it, my Star Shine! I am always here if you need help or if you just want to vent.
