Last year I joined the Five and Dime Challenge at LibraryThing. I had originally planned to complete the challenge -- in my case, 5 categories of 5 books each -- over my winter break, but that proved unfeasible. I then changed the end date to March 19, giving myself 5 months to complete the challenge. I finished it today, and here's what I read:

I have somehow gotten myself involved in another challenge on LibraryThing. It is creatively called the "Five and Dime" challenge, and the rules are: (1) pick 5 or 10 categories, and (2) read 5 or 10 books in each category. I finished 1776 tonight! I'll probably post the review tomorrow, because I am dead tired and don't particularly feel like re-living the book at the moment. But for now, I'll just revel in the fact that I'm DONE! The fluffy books are calling to me....
