fbajet recently posted a list of her favorite books that she's read so far in 2010, and she inspired me to do the same! :) So here are some of my favorite reads of the year, in no particular order:

Emily Gee's The Laurentine Spy had all my favorite plot elements tied up into one compelling package.

I'm looking forward to reading Gee's other novel, which is sitting on my shelf right now! :) Even though we don't agree on The Laurentine Spy, I hope I'll share your opinion on The Thief with no Shadow!

I've been rather neglectful of the "List of things I've read this year" recently. I'd better toddle off and update that! I, too, mark Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day among my favorites of the year so far.

Thanks for the award, although I don't think I've been very active on the book blogging lately. Feeling a bit blocked there, actually, maybe just because I'm trying to write more on this blog too.

I love the new layout! Very fancy and easy on the eyes.
I think I going to unashamedly steal your "Have read" list from you. It is going to take all my will power to resist borrowing ALL of those books from the library.

Thanks! :) I'd been looking for a new layout for a while, and I think I've finally found one that I like!

By all means, you should steal my list (and read all the books on it!). I always like to see what people have read and loved. :)
