The last Borders haul

Today I went to my local Borders for what will probably be the last time. I feel sad -- this is the end of an era! On the other hand, I did manage to score a lot of books I've been meaning to read.

I'm like you with Sexton--what I've read I've largely liked, but I haven't read enough. The title of the book made me think of Metmorphoses by Ovid, so I looked it up to find that it's a re-telling of fairy tales! I didn't know she'd done a whole book of them!

I'll definitely have to check that one out.

I didn't actually know it was a re-telling of fairy tales when I bought it, although I noticed one poem that appeared to be about Snow White. I love fairy tale re-tellings, though, so I'm even more excited now! I'll definitely post my thoughts on the book when I read it.
