I'm dreaming of a white Valentine's day

The snow is melting as we speak, but for a brief period of time, the locals in littlerock were treated to some of the white stuff, something that happens rarely.

In particular, I enjoyed the near riot conditions at the grocery (food) store. If the word "snow" shows up in the news, then an hour later you can't find a loaf of bread.

All y'all down there don't know how good you really have it. :) Two weeks ago we got 10 inches (I wish I could stop giggling everytime I say "10 inches"), and it still hasn't melted yet.

The roads are already clear, and were driveable in less than 24 hours.

Whee! I miss snow sometimes. Then I rememebr what a bitch it is to have to shovel every couple of hours, and how everyone becomes a maniac driver and loses all their braincells, and how apparently people believe they're going to be without power or transportation for weeks and so all go to the stores in force and buy stupid shit, and I thank the gods I'm living in a place that rarely sees the stuff.

Still .. it is pretty.

The snow that we got this weekend was the good kind...I was already in the house. with no place that I had to be, and by the next day, the roads were fine.

The think that really sucks is that when it does snow here and all the schools close, we are still open for business.

Where do you live? I want to see snow again but I live in Florida and we never get snow down here.

I live in Little Rock, and snow is quite rare here as well...I had to get some pics.

The only complaint I have about the snow is that it didn't ice over and prevent me from being here (work) today. Did you have a nice weekend?

Yeah, it was alright...I went and caught a couple of movies, and farted around the house...usual shiznit.
