I'm dreaming of a white Valentine's day

Feb 15, 2004 12:35

The snow is melting as we speak, but for a brief period of time, the locals in littlerock were treated to some of the white stuff, something that happens rarely.

In particular, I enjoyed the near riot conditions at the grocery (food) store. If the word "snow" shows up in the news, then an hour later you can't find a loaf of bread.

My sporty Saturn SC1 covered in the white stuff.

The front of the house.

The back of the house.

Down the street

Down the street, looking the opposite way.

The Snake Pit...some people don't have a pit to hiss in.

My old playhouse, on its last legs.

Frosty, left over from when I actually used to decorate for Christmas (he's been out there for at least 2 years).

The final resting place of Brutus and Dusty, who died in 1980 and 1986 respectively. Both were good dogs.

Also buried out there is Dean, a goldfish, and Francis, Quentin, and Sydney, birds all. There are about 3 more birds here, but I don't remember their names.

This book was sitting on my windowsill when the house got broken into in November, and got pulled outside when the screen was cut and the window broken. Notice the cut screen and the broken piece of glass on top. I would have cleaned this up, but I have the CSI people over here all the time, and they don't want any evidence tampered with.
