I think you posted this for a reason ... because you're helping me to deal with my problems.

I know about Job and other people in the Bible can comfort me, but sometimes it just helps to know that other living people are struggling through so much ... and I have no room to complain.

I wish the very best for you. Keep strong in your faith.

Please don't ever disappoint me by shaking it.

<3 God bless you.

I was just about to mention Job.

To the OP, there are many good pieces of advice in this thread. And many more than those who have responded to you who may just read your post, and your story, and pray for you.

I don't know your whole situation, and I don't feel qualified to speak about it. But I can share from my experience. :)

For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;

we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing;

persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;

always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.-2 Cor. 4:6-11

The apostles passed through many sufferings, but they also lived lives of enjoying Christ even in the midst of their trials and tribulations. They didn't pretend that their sufferings weren't real, ( ... )

Don't give up on Him. I don't think pushing Him out of your life is going to make it any better for you. At least, ask the folks around here if turning away from God through incredible hardship has been a pleasant experience; most will say no.

Might I suggest that you go to your pastor and have him put you on the prayer list? That way, the whole congregation can pray for you.

You're certainly not alone. Apostle Paul had "a thorn in his side" for many years, but he continued to serve God in spite of the pain. It's a challenge, and I can at least empathize with some of the emotional trauma you are going through. Of course you are in many of our prayers in this comm.

Lastly, this might sound strange, but have you been able to forgive the people in the past who have hurt you? I've heard story after story of bitterness playing a huge role in deteriorating physical health. Of course, that's certainly not the reason for many-or most-ailments, but it may very well be a contributing factor.
