So, awhile back, the one big nearby recycling center (a blue bin behind Mervyn's a block away) disappeared because, I'm assuming, it would pile too high and never be cleared out in time for more people to bring their next load of recyclables in.

Our apartment complex doesn't offer curbside recycling services and there isn't a recycling bin anywhere

That's insane. Can you put some pressure on the management of your complex?

I'm thinking about it. It's really lame.

Especially since we're also currently trying to find a place that doesn't charge us a bunch to recycle our television and are running across very little success.

Does your TV still work? Maybe someone on Craigslist wants it... even for parts?
