He's... already gone on my world. But he never acted like it. Ion went through each day like it would get better. Even when the future was in doubt, he never said, "I give up." He was really happy for the time he was given.

I don't think he'd want any of us to feel sorry for him. But I do anyway.

It is, yeah. That's how I started getting on my feet around here, too--spent a week or two selling fish to a lady who wanted it fresh for her restaurant. Now that it's getting warm out again, I might have to pick that back up.
