yesterday was extremely full so no time to post, so here's a brief update. may touch on some of this stuff in more detail later.

the story starts wednesday night, which went a little awry. stayed up too late, to watch the season-ending lost. then a shower, so I didn't have to deal with that in the morning. then, as always, thinking of last minute

Yes...but they finally hauled off and did the climactic destruction and MURDER I've been looking for. I feel like yes the prior two movies were good but TOO MUCH TALKING and not enough "I just sliced through you bub!"

I agree with your synopsis, specially about the characterisation. No lovely pretty bits (like the Nightcrawler in the Whitehouse sequence from 2). Bog standard mindless action movie, bit of a waste I thought but nevertheless kind of fun.

there was more action in this than the other ones but i thought the other ones walked a fine line. i could even have stood a little more characters in the first two but it would have been hard to do more without squeezing out the important action sequences!
