First of all, thank you to everyone for your support yesterday. I went back and read my entry from yesterday... wow. I was pretty out of it! (That post literally did not make sense!)

I was on 800mg a day of Tegretol, but it had stopped working. The seizures were increasing, and my memory was going to shit. I saw the specialist, who wanted to put me ( Read more... )

Hell yes! What made Joe decide to let Ethan come up for 4th grade? The pregnancy? I mean he is such a stickler when it comes to Ethan being gone, you know?

I'm happy for you!

I'm sorry that doc jacked up the meds. I'm sure you'll get everything figured out soon. I will still love your broken ass even if you don't figure it out.

I can't watch the video, I'm laying in bed on my blackberry. When I finally drag my sorry ass out of bed I will check it out.

It's funny, what honestly made him change his mind was Ethan himself! I guess after he came home after this last summer he kept begging to come back, so we're going to have him come out here next year. I'm excited! My only worry is the baby- I don't want to get in between Ethan's/their relationship, you know?

Dammit, Joe & Marie need to move closer back here!!! (Yeah right!)

(The vid is weird. The quality doesn't quite show all the muscle twitches or sweat, but it freaked me out!)

I'm so sorry that they are playing yo-yo with you and your meds right now. It's so frustrating to be in the middle when they aren't listening to you.

Are you still going into the unit for the monitoring soon? I hope you get some good feedback from what they see on film. Good job!

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. That last entry had me a little worried. I hope you can get the meds thing straightened out, too.

Damn I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with my flist. I hope you feel better. these approvals are shit why do we need them, we should be able to have access to medical care when needed. Plus I agree with you on the Lamictal, I was once on it and it's not worth it unless you absolutely need it. On a lighter, happier note I'm happy for you and Ethan, enjoy the 4th grade - I'm sure he won't but you will lol. I hated school when I was around his age.

I didn't see the last entry (yay dial-up. My f-page crashes half the time) but I'm extremely glad you're getting stuff sorted out and that they're starting to pay attention. I've always found that to be a good thing.

And I was just complaining about Lamictal and shaky hands to you in my journal! Haha! Well, I'm glad it's normal.
Also sorry you didn't have a good experience with the meds. So there are other things that will work.

Major congrats on your son! Great big happy thing! :D Good for you!
