Today would have been the meeting of a great club I used to belong to. I am a film geek and a good ally and I was a member of Queer Cinema but that was the last club I was involved with that disbanded after covid. All the others were fannish or atheist in nature. I have tried and tried to stay in contact with these guys but most of my friends have

it stinks when friends just sort of disappear into the ether. :( i was thinking about that yesterday, as a matter of fact; i had a really good friend in my late 20s that just stopped answering calls and emails and all of that. it made me mad and hurt and all the emotions between those two -- i still wonder what happened to him.

yeah, it does stink. Wanting to see my friends was what got me through quarantine without going completely crazy.

It was. the people were super super nice and smart and interesting and we saw some awesome movies.
