I don't know whether to be glad, for with Near around I won't be bored, or to be pissed off.
The latter sounds more reasonable, considering you've previously stated that this person named Luke keeps you entertained.

Putting trivial matters aside, it seems we're both trapped in this survival game. Mello, what do you plan to do?

Actually, Luke has been rather boring lately, especially when he got depressed. I think your arrival could...provide me some form of motivation, at least. I've found that I've lacked that since my arrival- odd, isn't that?

What do I plan? ...To get out of here, of course. I'm not interested in fighting in any war. What about you, Near? You're not going to be like some of the idiots here and actually go along with this, are you?

Obviously, I'm your new roommate. I suppose "Lucy" is as good as any name for me. That man certainly thought it was.

I have no interest in any sordid dramas between you and the "catboy," so don't try to get me entangled in it. In fact, it would be best if both of you just leave me alone.
