Last weekend started out nice and cool and overcast. I enjoyed it as much as I could knowing that it will be in the high 90s and just at 100 again this week before the real excruciating and unrelenting summer weather hits. I'm not a fan of summer in the valley and I miss being closer to the water

It’s an unpopular opinion, but I bask in the Summer time. Bring on the 100* weather all day ;’D

I'm terrible at keeping plants alive, too. Lol I've got some lilies out in the garden that come back every year so they're easy to maintain. My indoor plants include a bamboo plant that is thriving, a half-dead succulent, and an aloe plant that's doing pretty well. We'll see what happens in a few months. ^_^

This year I bought 5 vegetable plants and he basil is the only one that survived but not for long. I think I have better luck with some indoor plants. I want to buy more.
