It's been awhile since I've updated, but not much has changed. We're still pretty much just hunkering down at home. Things were starting to open, but rising cases have that stalled. Despite the stay at home order being extended to May 31st here, people are out in droves. I take my packages to the drop box at the post office almost every day and store parking lots I pass are full, sometimes with lines out the door. While the virus situation is terrible, I'm very much enjoying extra family time and quarantine life (I realize it's not technically quarantine, but that's what I'm calling it). For the last few days, I’ve been taking Alex on bike rides through the park. Instead of going to the play structures or staying on the path, we go into the middle of the field to blow bubbles or throw a ball. Last week we noticed a teeny tiny dog roaming the neighborhood and was sometimes seen on one person's porch in a makeshift bed and food and water dishes.
