Das mit dem krank werden kenne ich nur zu gut x.x
War eine Woche an der Grundschule, da waren eben auch einige erkältet und die husten einem ja ohnehin direkt ins Gesicht, ohne die Hand vor den Mund zu nehmen, nehmen alles Mögliche in den mund.. und wo die Finger überall waren, will ich echt nicht wissen ;___;

kittehs!

there is this thing called "airborne" here which was developed by a classroom teacher and is supposed to prevent colds. Also, you could try something like echinacea which is supposed to boost your immune system and make colds less intense.

but, I don't know where to tell you to get these things in Japan, I only know american brands, sorry :-(

I know Echinacea, we have that in Germany, too XD I don't know about Japan, though.
I drink Yakult everyday, though and a citrus/honey mix drink.

something like Yakult is really more for digestion than to boost your immune system (I have to admit I googled that, but there are probiotic drinks in the US too XD ( ... )

Yeah, I think that's true ^^;

We already use hand sanitiziers at work :)

Thanks a lot. I'll see if I can find anything ^-^

whoa... you're sick again?? TT_TT no good, girl! but.. as you said yourself.. it's because of new living place and kids around you! lol...

as you wrote once again what do you work, I would like to ask you some questions but I don't know whether you answer it. it's related to Japan and work there. so, if you have time and wish to talk to me, write only "yes" or smth like that, could you? ^^;;
I'm asking because you're a foreigner and maybe you'll understand me :3

and those kittens.... so cute!!! that's why I love Japan!! they do have such stuff for pets!! and really, it's a pity you can not have a cat in your apartment ><''

well, I hope you'll get better soon!~

wheee!!~ *is happy* thank you!!

my questions would be...
first of all. I'm still a student but I will graduate this summer. and after that my friend and I want to go abroad. to be precise, it's Japan. and as I don't have any acquintances there... it's quite hard to imagine whole thing how to find a job. I am not fluent at English nor Japanese [in fact, my Japanese is major failure ><], so... I can't imagine where I could work! after coming to Japan and finding a place to live [and that's a biiiiiig headache to me!] I am going to study Japanese very hard! I can read maybe... 200 kanji [??] without any problems and I'm still learning ( ... )

Hm ... so first of all may I ask with what kind of visa you're going to come? Is it a working holiday visa? If so then you can go to an organisation in Tokyo. They might help you find a job.
If you come here on a tourist visa it'll be difficult to get an appartment, you'll probably have to get into a guest or gaijin house instead.
Without a work visa, you're not allowed to work here in Japan at all.
You could enroll into a Japanese language school and study there, that would give you some kind of college student visa and you could work part-time, but those schools tend to be quite expensive.
