OH MY. These looks yummy! Your onigiri is perfectly shaped. How long have you spent on these bentos? I'm going to learn how to make an onigiri one day. XDD~

Thank you ^^
Well, I suck at making cute onigiri shapes, that´s why I use a special mold for them ^^; ... it makes things easier.
Hmm, good question. I think actually DOING s.th. didn´t take so long .. perhaps 20 minutes. But you have to prepare the rice (which have to lay still in the water for half an hour), cook the Swabian pockets or the spring rolls in my case (if you don´t have leftovers from the day before) etc. ^^
But what I did was really something quick, I didn´t have much time back then ^^;;;

O___O I heard that you need to use special rice called Pearl rice to make onigiri or sushi right? Haha I see. But it's still good. I bet I'll take 2 hours to make a simple bento. o(n__n)o

Well, yeah. The best rice to use for onigiri is sushi rice, it´s not expensive (at leat not here where I live, I have no idea what´s the deal in other countries ^^;)
Err, no I don´t think you´ll need 2 hours unless you want to make an uber-cute and artistic bento ^^;
Well usually you can use left-overs for your bento, but the thing is I usually don´t have any leftovers from dinner ;o; ..... *headdesk* XD I should eat less in the evening I guess? XD

Oh, I didn´t color them. You can buy them like that here in Germany ^^;
I only know how to color "empty" eggs for Easter, so ... I have no idea how they do it with hard-boiled eggs, sorry (^^;;)

P.S.: Love your MatsuJun icon <3

In order to color hardboiled eggs, you can either buy a kit (in the US, the most well known kits are made by brand called Paas, but there are more out there) or use a combination of food coloring, water and vinegar ( ... )

... Is it weird that I've never eaten an onigiri before?...
:S
I think it's crazy how much I want to eat one after seeing your bentopicspams.

Am hungry now...
