It's time for yet another Top Five list! This one is for johnsheppardluv who asked for my top Doctor/Donna moments. I have watched that spanners scene SO many times. I could watch it forever on constant loop. I'm with you: David Tennant and Catherine Tate need to take their hilarious double act on the road.

And it needs to be something that's not just a comedy show. Because even though they are so very funny together, they have chemistry of every sort: angry chemistry, sexy chemistry, angsty chemistry. I want it all!

I'm sorry. They're both just so mesmerizing in this scene... Especially that moment when the Doctor figures Donna out...

It's just brilliant. I love it to pieces.

They are. It starts off so funny and then it turns on a dime to show us just how lacking in self-esteem Donna really is. Never mind showing us 'the Doctor's soul' (we never did see it, only his darker imaginings as to what it looks like), we saw Donna's soul.

No matter which five you put on your list, there will be others that should be on it. Just remember that picking those five doesn't mean that you love the rest any less. *g*

I see the Doctor as a switch most of the time, but Donna quite definitely brings out his submissive side.

Oh yes, all of these!! I love them laughing on the Segway - it's so clearly when we see she'd make a fantastic companion. And the "cheap shot" scene is another favorite, especially because of her little apologetic "Spaceman" at the end, sort of letting him off the hook, but not completely. And I could watch the Spanners scene all day long. ♥

I began to enjoy Donna before the Segway scene, but that's when you can see that she gets it. No one should travel with the Doctor unless they can see how silly things are sometimes.

Yeah, I didn't see Runaway Bride until after most of Season 4, so I liked her already. But yes, being able to laugh at the absurdity is a key quality in companions!

I saw all the episodes in order the first time through, and she drove me nuts a bit to start. She was just such a huge change from Rose and then she was very upset when she showed up on the TARDIS (unsurprisingly - who wouldn't be on their wedding day?), but once she calmed down and started connecting with the Doctor I began liking her.
