I must say that I'm LOVING the Illuminations blog with all the posts about the Hamlet filming. It's excellent getting a first hand view from someone (John Wyer) who's quite involved but, at the same time, a bit removed from the action since he's not an actor or the director. Hee! I've just come on to read my flist after reading the running commentary blogging they did today over at Illuminations :) It's very interesting, isn't it? And not just as an insight into what goes into normal filming, but because it's an adaptation, and an adaptation of a play that all these same people played for months. They're clearly very tight for time but I think that will ultimately help the feel of it - after all live plays always had to go on no matter what, you just need to turn your concentration to the stage and get on with it. Ooh, I'm so looking forward to this!

I love all the little details! Even though he's trying not to say too much, he's still dropping interesting hints and giving us some feeling on how it's going to be different from the stage version.

*sporfle* I love how David Tennant manages to inspire fanboy tendancies in the most professional of people :D. He really lives up to the meaning behind his name :D

I find that quite amusing as well! Both the producers are squeeing about Tennant like fanboys instead of serious businessmen.

Yeah, I think I might be a tiny bit in love with that producer. I am also lolling at all of the female names in the comments (*sigh* including my own!).

Hee. These sort of details are important! How can we go on without knowing! Hey, aren't you in London right now? You can go check! Though the filming location is secret, so it might be tough.

The twitter is fun, but I really like the blog posts with all their little details. One thing I wonder is if the DVD is going to be released in blu-ray. If it is, I may have to wait (very impatiently!) for the region 1 version. Not that I won't have seen it already, but I want the DVD too!
