Oliver paid the delivery man a few moments later and carried the pizza to the table, inhaling the scent and nearly groaning. His stomach growled as he set the box down and opened it. "Well, let's hope it tastes as good as it smells."

Chloe raised her eyebrows and looked at his stomach, "if you're as hungry as you sound, I think it will taste like the best pizza you've ever had." She pulled one of the chairs and sat down on it, placing her pills on the table as she did.

He smirked at her. "Cute. Make fun of the playboy." He sat down and pulled a slice of pizza from the box, taking a bite before setting it on his plate.

Her words were slightly slurred and he almost grinned. Instead, he finished his pizza and shook his head. "No, not tonight. I have some other things to work on," he told her. Plus he wasn't okay at the thought of leaving her by herself the night after Lex had her attacked and nearly killed. Not that he'd ever tell her that. "Sleepy again?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

She tried to make a face, but it turned into a smile instead, she felt really relaxed so she just nodded then grinned, "you're drugging me just so you can laugh at me."

Now he couldn't help but grin at her. "I'm not laughing at you."

"Well, then you're hoping it'd make your challenge easier," she smirked, cocking her head and raising her eyebrows at him.

She nodded, laying her head on her arms over the table and turning so she could look at him, "yeah, you know, playboy lifestyle sounds lonely."

Oliver drew in a breath and let it out slowly, shrugging a little. "I guess," he murmured.

Her eyelids were really heavy, so she closed her eyes, a smile still on her lips as she shrugged, "we can be un-lonely together." She opened her eyes a little to look at him but closed then again when she yawned.

A smile tugged at his lips as she literally began to fall asleep right in front of him. He rose to his feet. "Sounds good to me," he said quietly, moving over beside her and carefully shifting her into his arms. He lifted her up effortlessly. "Let's get you to bed. It'll be much more comfortable."
