Okay...Erm. So I forget who mentioned these two together, but I've been thinking of writing them for awhile and here was my chance... Been poking at this one for awhile too and I'm not entirely sure it's ready, but hey, here it is. :) Set pre-series for both Lost and House, M.D. Around six hundred words. ( Cold )

Gah. And the award for the pairing most likely to make Megan's brain melt with its hotness and Really Great Hair goes to... :-D

Chase's thoughts! (Chase made a face at the completely-over-stepping-his-bounds man...) Sawyer's nicknaming! That last line! Man, perfect. And then of course you went and messed with my head here...

...his entire body smelling like Jack and maybe the faintest hint of sugary sweet soda.

After which I went "Whoa... how does Chase know what Jack smells like? Ooh, Jack's probably in Australia to pick up his dad's body... Is Chlare making devious implications???" And then I remembered about Jack the drink and I laughed at myself. *G*

Seriously, what a great combination of hair! :D

Hee, so Chase was okay? I didn't screw him up entirely? Yay! Yeah, I think that last line came soon after I started writing the thing and it was too good not to end with. :)

*G* I thought that would be confusing, and perhaps I should change it to Jack Daniels or whiskey or whatever JD actually is. :) (Although, I was kind of toying with the idea that Chase pre-House is kind of this cool, calculating troller that lures guys in without them knowing it, so that actually would have worked...) I'm glad it confused you, because that little anecdote amused me, nonetheless. :D

Not to mention two pairs of voices quite capable of making me swoon a little. *g*

She asks, as if I have a clue! X-D Nah, I thought he was great... And his 'okay, I'm ignoring you now' tactic would totally drive Sawyer crazy.

Hee! I think it may just have been that my brain tends to link Sawyer and Jack, so I'm not sure you'd catch up too many others with that choice. (Kind of like post-House!Chase, but without the actual experience to back that attitude up, eh? *g* I like that notion. Possibly more than I should, given how many LOSTies eventually troop through Australia...)

Speaking of voices, I just watched that S2 ep from House where Cuddy does an impression of Stacey, and let me tell you, Cuddy with a Southern accent is adorable. :D

*G* Yes, I thought it might, especially when Sawyer is trying to woo. :D (Plus, you know, it works so damn well with House/Cameron/Foreman. Heh.)

Me too! Trust me, when I read through it before posting, I was like, 'gee, that totally sounds like he means Jack the person...O.o'. (Yes! exactly. An experimenting Post-House-like Pre-House Chase. ;D I still want to do more Jack/Sawyer. They're just so...ficcable with all that daddy!angst. Mm.)
