He was dead.
Even after this, C.C. lived on. Such was the curse of her immortality. She had loved him. The green-haired beauty, the Grey Witch of Britannia, was in love with the Demon King. She was his creator, his witch as he was her demon, her warlock. They were bound until his death.
He granted her wish.
To be loved.
But she also wanted to die.
Lelouch vi Britannia could not grant that wish if he himself was dead. He was not like her. He didn’t possess the Code. Contrary to popular belief, her demon could not revive. This was why she did not love so easily, in fear of this.
She looked out into the horizon. The sun was setting as she strolled down the shoreline. She was no longer the Empress of Britannia, but simply a woman with flowing green hair, an anomaly of society. She was subject to rumors everywhere she was not recognized. In this archipelago collectively known as Destiny Islands, things went around very quickly.
She wasn’t surprised to hear something while on her walk to the beach.
“I say she’s a fugitive,” said a girl in a yellow jumper. Selphie, her name was.
“Nah,muhn. I heard she was a runaway. She ran after her fiancé left her at the altar.” Said an older teenage with bright red-orange hair. Wakka was spinning his blitzball as he spoke.
For teenagers who were supposed to be gossiping, they were sure loud. C.C. turned around and stared. The look of indifference melted across her face. She understood the fact that she was meant to be alone. One of her breasts ached under her full white body suit. It must have been the Geass scar.
The power of the kings makes people lonely, she said once. Again, she was the one alone
“Hey Riku, how about another duel? I’ve been training for this.”
“Haha, are you kidding? I’ll need eight minutes. The Mayor wants me back to do something for the guest.” said the young man, Riku. His silver hair caught the dying sunlight, causing a glare. When C.C. looked at him, she could have sworn she caught a glimpse of Lelouch. She shook her head. They did not look alike. For sure, it wasn’t that.
It was…the air. His aura reminded her of Lelouch. He had an air of arrogance about him.
The young man, Riku, felt someone staring at him and looked up from his wooden sword. His sea-blue eyes met with C.C.’s amber ones. Then, C.C.’s forehead and left breast grew hot. The Geass Sigils were threatening to appear.
He had a wish.
She had the ability to give him up to fulfill that wish.
Would she do it?
“Riku?” said Brown Spikes: Sora.
Their gazes were still locked.
