Pence is cute, but she won’t admit it. Hanyer’s a different kind of cute. She still won’t say anything. Roxas is out there too, but to her, he’s untouchable. She shakes her head. It’s weird, she admits. She can’t bring herself to think of them like that. Olette can’t imagine dating them, but she continues down the list anyway.
Pence is on the chubby side, but still cute. Hanyer’s a little arrogant, but it works with him. Roxas is…always looking elsewhere; it makes him dreamy and mysterious.
“This is weird.” Olette tells herself.
It’s then when the three guys come, bearing sea-salt popsicles --- their favorite treat. It’s good for a hot summer day. They are her friends. None of them are more special than that. She smiles. That’s the way she wants it to be. She won’t change it for the world.
“Hey ‘Lette,” Hanyer calls, omitting the first letter of her name. She looks up.
“Let’s go to the Tower.” Roxas suggests, grinning. Pence surrenders one of the popsicles to her.
Yeah, she would never change this. She reassures herself. Not for the whole, entire world.
