their idea of having a Theoxenia type festival. I don't know if that was a modern invention of theirs or based on some ancient Delphic festival

Well, a theoxenia is an ancient type of ritual, where the gods are invited to a formal dinner where they get served human foods (rather than the normal type of sacrifice, where it's mostly about the smoke/scent rather than the food itself). They were held for many different gods and heroes all over the place. However, at Delphi in particular there was a whole month called Theoxenios, in which they believe there was a big Theoxenia festival for Apollon. I modified that to include some of the other gods of Delphi, who are also my personal gods.

I have changed around several dates thoughI think the most important thing is, once you have set the dates, to stick to them, and to over time develop a fixed calendar, where you start creating a tradition.
