Free Money!

So, a week or so ago, the government threw some spending money at me to help stimulate the economy. And now I have some spare cash. Don't plan to spend it all, but I'll be getting a couple things.

Firstly, I'm getting an exercise bike. I've been putting on weight lately and I'm not happy about it; I don't eat much and I walk everywhere, but hey ( Read more... )

You probably get plenty of walking already, but let me know if you ever want company to wander around. I *love* walking.

It is good not to have too many bills to pay. Of course, that will probably change when we move out of the utilities included apartment, but for now its good ( ... )

I'm glad you liked the first book, and very happy you're getting the second one; a lot fewer people have read it.

And I hear you on the needing to lose weight; I've gained about 20 pounds since we moved to Eugene, mostly a combination of the array of amazing food (and beer!) available here and having been out of work for eight months.

Looking forward to it. :-)

I have no idea how much weight I gained, I'm not sure I want to know. Aside from being far more stationary than is likely good for me, I don't always eat at ideal times; I forget to have dinner sometimes until I'm just about ready to go to bed. That's not good for you either. Trying to switch the big dinner meal to midday and eat something lighter closer to bed will probably make a huge difference for me.

Another stimulus check? I know nothing about this. Though I owe money to the government and they often confiscate mine - still, usually I hear something about it.

The second Odin book is great, so that's a good buy. :)

My mother hadn't heard anything either when I mentioned it to her, the other person I know who's mentioned it is on disability like I am. So I don't know, maybe that has something to do with it. I honestly haven't been paying attention to the news in a long time, I only heard about it because I got a notice in the mail it was coming. Maybe we're just getting it first.

Glad to hear its a book worth getting. If I can pick one or two more from my list, I should be happy the next couple of months. :-)

If you haven't already, I'd suggest buying "Walking the Heartroad" which is fantastic.

I purchased a download of that a while back, it is a fantastic book.

I was thinking of trying to find at least one decent book on working with animal spirits, to try and help propel me off my ass with the spider thing. Looking into it ...
