I'm sorry that you are so unhappy...I have just thing. I'll get you and Renee a copy of HSM 1, 2, and 3, so you can spend a quite evening with music, and dancing and never have to see those nasty "irritating drunken sex obsessed twenty somethings" again. Poor baby...let it out, just spill all those bad feelings....Then you ca sit back and watch HSM till your heart is healed......kiss, kiss, "hug, hug"

Love

Deirdre

Nah, I'd rather watch Cabin Fever again. However much it may suck, at least everyone is dead in the end. Unless HSM ends on an unexpected yet much hoped for twist, I don't think so. :-P

That scene left me with brain damage. I hope it was meant to be funny ... but it was so ... what was that? I was confused.

Whatever laughter I may have had, it reminded me of how I thought the ending to House of 1000 Corpses was funny (it wasn't, it was just so over the top it broke my mind).

Eh, I don't know, And why was this movie advertised as being so disgusting? Blackened sores? How freely the characters coughed up blood? There was only one death that could even come close to gruesome?

Eh, I wouldn't, your first instinct there was the correct one. If you watched the sequence with Captain Spaulding on the DVD menu, you've seen the only part of the movie worth seeing (too bad, because that was really funny and I'd like to be able to recommend it to people to see, but I can't in good consciousness tell them to get the movie just for that). If the first ten minutes were that bad, it only gets worse ... much worse.

I hear so often that horror movies made today are just so gory and gross and graphic, people will make such a big deal about certain movies and certain scenes in them. I've seen most of those more talked about movies now (the big exception being Hostel), and none of them are what they're made out to be. Horror movie violence now is all off camera or in the shadows or behind the plant or something off where you can't see it; compare that with movies from the eighties or early nineties, where there was no such thing as off camera and the movie didn't flinch from shit ... I don't know what people get so worked ( ... )

The dog scene wasn't too bad, though I wished the dog had gotten to feast on a few more of them before it was shot. It was the only one that came even close to a gruesome death, for such an allegedly disgusting splatter film wannabe, most everyone were just gunned down quietly.

LOL! Thanks for the hearty laugh on this crap-tastic Monday morning. I'm sorry you lost a chunk of your life to something so terrible. My hubby is a horror movie fan, so every once in a while I have to endure a movie I hate. The worst was a (I think) Japanese kung fu vampire movie. Terrible to say the least.

Thank you. I figured at least something entertaining ought to come out of this movie's existence. :-)

Kung-fu vampires? Oh man. Even I have limits.

Oh, if you're ever interested in a great so bad its good, check out . I've never seen the whole movie, only the last story with the Zuni doll. I've never laughed so hard. :-)

Don't know if you're a Foamy fan or not, but this is exactly how I've been feeling about Halloween this year. Too much cute - where's the horror?

I begin to think I have a legitimate lawsuit against the Foamy creators. I mean I've obviously being stalked for material. :-P

Seriously though, its creepy how many of Foamy's rants almost exactly mirror rants I have made (I did that scene about Starbucks coffee and their sizing system; I came up with the idea for the reality TV snuff show a long time ago). This is no exception. Halloween is going down the toilet.

That and its seems to be getting pushed out more and more in favor of Christmas. There are stores that have their Christmas shit out already! Why???
