Yes, that is very true. What I'm doing definitely changes how people see me.

At the hardware store, I'm generally seen as male. In the craft store, I'm seen as female. I /think/ men are more likely to see me as male, and women as female, but not as sure about that. I have no trouble with the toilet or locker rooms.

I find it interesting, and very much confuse people. But then again, that's an issue for a lot of butch women, and I would agree that term fits me.

I think there is a lot of truth to this. Some people read out as "cross dressing", others read out as "transsexual", and then there are some that read out androgynous/unclear. People seem a lot less inclined to harass people that fall in to that last category, especially when the person's behavior otherwise says "I'm just an androgynous looking girl, nothing to see here"

Kyee, I'm not the only one who runs in to this. It hit me a few months ago that my pronouns have slipped to be very random, and that wearing a skirt actually didn't change the pronouns at all (I used to almost never get pronouned male while wearing a skirt). It was weird realizing how okay people seem to be with it, and how friendly random strangers would still be towards me.
