October was a busy month in the birthday flower business. Clearly the Deck was a very amorous place during February. Leigh was going to get signet marigolds for her birthday but they had not survived the cold spell. Instead she will be presented with wild geranium and sweet pea, tied up with a transparent textile ribbon and raffia. It is a very traditional-looking bouquet, in shades of pale mauve. Two beautiful ladies were celebrating their birthdays today. Both had recently challenged up so they were being spoiled with extra-fancy bouquets.
