in short: mesmerizing!

I hadn't noticed the differences before. upon first watching, I was rather stunned that after more than a year break in production they were able to recreate *everything* from the visual to the emotional so perfectly. That was really interesting. Watching PKW is both very rewarding and very frustrating to me. Rewarding because I do love it (the first two hours are a bit rushed but the last two are the best FS out there, IMO) and because I waited for it for years (I was watching FS when it was originally airing and literally screamed at my TV at the end of Bad Timing) but frustrating because this storyline could have been done over 22 eps! Gradually! More room to develop and deal with side issues and everything.

GRRRRR.

I still can't help but get mad about no season 5.

Btw, I hope you don't mind, but I friended you. I like reading FS posts...

thanks! PKW, yes it does feel rushed at times, esp when the emotions just get to you and you get no time to process them thoroughly. As I mention above, I was totally spoiled for the entire series, but *even* then I felt wretched after seeing Bad Timing, my reaction was not dissimilar to that of D'Argo! I cannot even comprehend what it must've been like to watch it when it aired, knowing it was the very last episode and then wait all that time for the Mini!

however, I sometimes wonder, whether the fact that FS is only 88 eps wasn't a somewhat deciding factor in me making my mind up that I just *might* be able to download them all. I dunno if I woud've felt the same if it was 110. but I digress, it truly only took the Premiere ep for me to fall in luv with Crichton!©

I resisted watching the show for years. I mean, muppets! Clones! Living space ship! Do I look demented? Oh boy. FS was the lesson that I should always listen to my best friend's taste in TV.

knowing it was the very last episode and then wait all that time for the Mini!

It's funny, I remember watching BT and it's almost over and I breathe a sign of relief because hey, it's cancelled, and lots of plot points are still hanging, but at least it looks like JA are going to get a happy ending, and then 'blaaaaam' But OMG, the way they look at each other, and decide not to run, again, and just kiss each other with everything that is in them? God.

And yes, I love so many things about FS, but Crichton is why I am rabid.
