I especially liked Daniel's answer to Vala's question as to how they differentiate between the Asgard - that it's the voice; given that Michael Shanks gives voice to Thor -

I like the moment in Ripple Effect when Kvasir is beamed on the Prometheus and is all business like, Daniel remarks,"I miss Thor."

Overall, I think this was the fitting way to end it. I loved that the last shot was the team going through the gate with the General saying, "God speed."

oh, my!!! yes!! the 'I miss Thor' was such a wonderfully funny moment!!

and about the 'God speed' ending... it reminded me very much of Hammond; I don't think Landry used that phrase much, did he? when he said it in this episode, it felt like an homage to Hammond (and the yrs gone by) ...or am I wrong here and my memory fails me?

btw, love your icon. has this emotional resonance to it.

Landry usually said"Good Luck" so the "God Speed" was definitely an homage to Hammond which is why I love it so much.
