[Super Junior] real romances go like this, R, AU/Humor, KiHae

Jul 01, 2009 21:05

New profile layout for the comm after three and a half years. :)

This is the last installment of the KiHae arc, save the Donghae-POV sidestory that refuses to be written for some reason. It will feature pre-get together and post-get together both, and a fairly explicit sex scene. Whenever I get around to writing it. Um, wish me luck with it?

Thanks for reading along and leaving wonderful comments and generally just enjoying this 'verse. I'm a little blocked for it atm, but definitely expect a Qmi arc next (after the last Kihae sidestory). ♥

AU. In the end, Kibum kind of likes this frat boy.

They stopped kissing long enough for Donghae to gasp, "Did you want to talk?"

"Not a girl," Kibum replied, voice muffled by how his mouth was buried along Donghae's collarbone. He licked it and followed it with a graze of his teeth that made Donghae squirm beneath him. Talking was overrated.

"Fuck," Donghae said, a whine to his voice, as he tangled his legs with Kibum's, thrusting against his hip. Kibum could feel him, hot and hard, through the thin nylon of his track pants and the denim of his own jeans.

Fuck, Kibum agreed later as Donghae ducked down to swirl his tongue in Kibum's navel and lick a flaming path down his belly. Fuck fuck fuck, when Donghae took him in his mouth, hot and wet. His fingers clenched in Donghae's hair as his hips jerked forward. This hadn't been what Kibum had had in mind when he'd dropped by, but he wasn't about to complain.

Sometimes it was really just this easy. They both knew what they wanted now; there was no need to confuse matters by discussing their emotions in depth. Psychoanalysis of themselves would do no good, especially when - Donghae moved back up the length of Kibum's body, dropping filthy, damp kisses along his chest, one hand wrapping Kibum's fingers around himself - when they could be doing this instead.

Donghae's name was on Kibum's lips when he came, jeans only pushed half-off his hips, back arching as he emptied himself against Donghae's stomach. And when he kissed Donghae afterwards, catching his breath and sweat cooling, his heart felt a little fuller than usual. He laid on his back on Donghae's bed, catching his breath and distantly grateful that seniors in the fraternity apparently got their own rooms.

"Did you want to talk?" he asked after a few minutes, Donghae sprawled half-beside him, half-on top of him, limp. He was heavy, but Kibum didn't mind.

"Just to tell you you're the hottest nerd I've ever done." Donghae's mouth quirked.

Kibum tangled their hands resting across his abdomen. "Well, you're the only frat boy I've ever done."

Donghae mouthed at his ear. "Good."

"So you're--" Kyuhyun said, openly curious.

"Dating a frat boy, yeah." Kibum didn't look as upset as he would have a few weeks ago. He smiled ruefully and shrugged. "What can I say? He's pretty irresistible."

Kyuhyun made an appalled face. "Oh god, don't make me ill. You're going to be talking about him all the time now, aren't you?" He groaned into his lunch. "This is why I hate couples."

Kibum leaned over and stole a sushi roll from Kyuhyun's plate. "I heard Zhou Mi was feeling sick? How's he doing?" His voice was noncommittal.

"He insists that he's fine but he's sniffling and coughing all over the place, that dumbass. I made him soup and forced him to stay home today but, well," Kyuhyun's voice had softened considerably, "I think he'll be okay. He really wants to be better in time for the play and he knows I won't let him go if he's still--" He broke up when he noticed Kibum's shit-eating grin. Realization dawned quickly.

"Fuck you," Kyuhyun said and buried his face in his hand again, flushing red. "I hate you. I hope Donghae cheats on you with Heechul."

Kibum only laughed at him.

Kyuhyun raised his head after a moment. "No, I take that back. I'd never wish that on anyone. Donghae seemed like a pretty decent guy."

Yeah. Kibum kind of thought so too.

The theater rustled, a wave of excited whispers rolling over the audience. Kibum thought to be grateful that theater etiquette forbid screams and cheers because he suspected the girls around him would have more than willingly broken into screaming and cheering if allowed. He sank a little further into his seat and disparaged the female half of the campus population.

"Isn't he dashing?" Zhou Mi whispered loudly, eyes shining as he clutched at Kibum's arm. "He looks so good!"

Scratch that. The entire campus population.

The cause for the audience's thrum of excited tension and fawning whispers that included words Kibum didn't think people even used anymore like dashing?

Donghae was dressed elegantly in costume on stage, playing the hateful Tybalt. He glared at the actor playing Romeo (Lee Sungmin, Kibum had been informed, and he finally placed why he thought the face looked familiar, and felt slightly embarrassed).

"What, drawn, and talk of peace! I hate the word
As I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee:
Have at thee, coward!"

He delivered his lines to a hushed rise of sighs and quiet shrieks. The girls in front of Kibum looked ready to hyperventilate.

"I can't believe this," Kibum muttered under his breath. To his left, Jessica turned to laugh at him.

"I told you he was insanely popular with drama girls," she whispered, leaning her head in, cupping a hand to her mouth to shield her words. "He never, ever plays the leads. He's really not that into drama, you know - more of a dance and song kind of person, if given the choice. But he takes a class and Sungmin forces him and it always ends with Sungmin pouting about how drama girls have no taste."

"Clearly, he's quite good," Zhou Mi felt obliged to put in from Kibum's right, beaming. "And he's hot. You're lucky, Kibum." He patted Kibum's arm and winked cheerfully.

"Zhou Mi," Kyuhyun hissed from Zhou Mi's other side. "Shut up."

Kibum was grateful for his friend's intervention. He had always been plenty aware of the fact that Donghae was popular. He was in Sigma Chi, after all; it was practically a given. Kibum was sure Donghae had slept with his share of girls and, honestly, he didn't need a reminder. Everyone loved Donghae, he thought with a curl of his lips, and wanted in his pants.

But now? Only Kibum had the right. It gave him a certain measure of satisfaction - Heechul called it smugness, but Heechul was really one to talk.

Donghae was leaving the stage now, exiting the scene until his next. A disappointed sigh threaded through the audience like a whisper through the grass. It seemed as though girls sank back into their seats, resigned to pass time until Donghae next showed up.

Kibum rolled his eyes but couldn't help find it a little funny.

Or maybe he was just being smug again. He smirked to himself under the cover of darkness, settling in for the rest of the play. The girls could wait for Donghae's next scene with as much anticipation as they wanted; at the end of the night, Kibum was the one who got to take Donghae home.

"You're a pretty cocky asshole," Donghae laughed at him later, backstage. He wrapped an arm around Kibum's waist and dragged him close, smiling up at him with that smile that still managed to snag Kibum's breath in his throat. "You don't have to see me home like I'm some kind of girl, Kibum."

Kibum shrugged. "Fine," he said calmly. "Come home with me instead."

Donghae leaned in for a kiss, brief but hungry. He licked his lips afterward, the look in his eyes heated. "Now you're talking."

("I deserve some kind of medal for all this backbreaking meddling I've been doing," Heechul bitched to Siwon, overheard by Tiffany, shared with Jessica, reported to Kyuhyun, and eventually retold to Kibum.

"I'll buy him a fucking tiara," Kibum said, exasperated.

When this finally got back to Heechul through another winding path of gossip, never mind that Heechul and Kibum lived in the same apartment, Heechul's eyes gleamed. "I'm holding you to that.")
