Yes. No doubt about it. For the reasons you've already stated and because I find it so much easier to plan when you know the sex.

They also screen for defects, so it may be worth it

this is the part that we make me want to do it. Sure it's 200-300, but you can plan a lot easier knowing.

Good luck, hun :)

For the tests... yes.

The sex is an iffy... I would probably want mine to be a surprise. I dunno... *shrugs*

So do I, the surprise ... but daddy wants to know. I know there's no way one of us can know and the other not ... especially when a lot of "boy" or "girl" things are getting bought. LOL

Hey girlie, glad your check up went smoothly! No kiddos here, but the $200-300 sounds like a wise investment to insure the babies health and to eliminate the stress of planning for an unknown sex. You could always get it for safety reasons if nothing else and ask not to be told the sex if you wanted it to be a surprise. :)

Glad to hear everything went okay.

And to answer your question (I think I want to know the sex of my first baby...or all my babies.)

Thankya love! I don't want to know the sex necessarily, but I do want to put to rest the constant wondering if my baby has 10 fingers and 10 toes, ya know? ;)
