The appointment went well today. Nothing out of the norm - just the regular 'check up'.
Also made the appointment for the ultrasound and follow up for next month. Still debating on whether or not finding out the sex is worth $200-$300 since the insurance doesn't cover any of the cost of the ultrasound. They also screen for defects, so it may be worth it. Especially since the Amniocentesis test increases your risk of a miscarriage - 1 in 200.
So, my question is for anyone (but especially the mother's out there): Would you go ahead with it if you had to pay the full amount?
