This was just...wow. The part that moved me the most and just drove Regina's pain home was when she said that the life she was imagining with Daniel would have been beautiful. It is such a stark difference between a poor existence and her being queen. Power, position and money--three things people kill and fight for--mean nothing to her without love. Regina is such a nuanced and flawed character and you have captured her essence so well.

I thank you for sharing this story as well as getting into the Once fandom because I definitely followed you (and to tublr as well!).
