That's good Beat. Has he found a place or am I going to expect that he's going to take up one of the empty rooms in the now expanded apartment?

Seeing as how large our apartment has gotten since Tsurugi had Sasword knock down the wall, it's fine. I'm pretty sure Tsurugi wouldn't mind, Yuuto is...well Yuuto, and Rhyme seems as if she would have no problems.

Who is Jim Crow?

Jim Crow isn't a person but a set of laws used to restrict the rights of African-Americans in a time before I was born.

Barring us from marrying outside our own race, being made to go through a unpassable screening process in order to vote, seperate living and commerical arrangements based upon what race you belonged to, and in one of the more odd ones being told that we weren't allowed to run.

Things like that have happened-are happening-in my country too. But working together against a government like that can bring about change for the better, even if it's only a little bit at a time.

True, but sometimes hoping for that little change to become a sweeping wave is a common desire.

Not saying I don't share that desire. Just that, in part because not everyone does, it's harder to accomplish than it should be.

Only until something drastic happens, though humans are a species of habit. A change, even one that's for their better good, will be met with resistance.
