Beat and Rhyme, I spoke to a friend of yours who arrived recently, his name is Neku. Have you two gotten in contact with him?

I haven't had a real chance to discuss the nature of politics until I noticed a question being proposed by somebody that I know. And that would be over the nature of the masses having no choice but to follow a two differing figureheads. One being horrible and the other one who happens to be a lesser evil.

And as I've stated, the only due course of action is revolution. Not anarchy which for all intents an purposes only serves to create even more trouble than it is meant to solve. But to topple a regime where the people are oppressed and erecting a functional government where people can get that fair chance to strive for a better life. One where people are all equal when it comes down to making decisions which will affect their country as a whole. With those examples I gave and others which apply to the pursuit of true liberty and happiness would lead to an ideal or perfect government.

But in reality, that is impossible. The government of my country still fell short in putting those ideas into practice. In the beginning women, the poor, and my ancestors were barred from voicing their opinion for a long time. Also, don't get me started on just how much of human being they counted people of my race as that is if some of them even considered us human to begin with. Throughout the years the United States government has made great strides and at the same time they have made several gigantic steps backwards. For a government to be truly perfect there would have to be divine intervention from God or whatever higher power there is looking over us as we carry on with our lives.

But since that hasn't happened then the most we can do is attempt to change things to allow people to persue their desires while at the same time making sure that we don't bring about more crazy rules in the vein of Jim Crow laws.
