[Well, it's snowing outside. Again. Miyabi had been meaning to work more on her surprise for her friends, but with the thick falling snow, anything she tried to get done would be ruined. So, Plan B! She hippity hopped her way to where her and Salt's home was, buried in the snow, and not becoming any less buried with the current weather. The little

All right, what would you like to hear, then? I know many folktales from my homeland, so I can tell you anything you'd like to hear. A scary story, a sad story, one with a bittersweet ending... Or perhaps I can try to remember one with a fairly happy ending.

Ah, madam, good choice~! But I must warn you I know some very good ghost stories... One moment, please. [Miyabi moves away for a few minutes, and blows out all the candles or lanterns lighting the room. She leaves only one candle, so the atmosphere would be there as well. The young painter raises her voice, just in case anyone in the house was listening in, and begins.]
Madam, I must ask you, first and foremost...do you believe in vengeful spirits~? Souls of ones who have died or been murdered, taken form into gruesome and evil demons. ...Back home, we call those monsters mononoke.

This story takes place in the imperial city...where the Queen of Sei-An City ruled over the people justly and kindly. She was a fairly young queen, but still loved by the people because of her devotion to them ( ... )

Mm, Nami...h-how are you feeling? D-Did you like the flowers? [She coughs a little, then raises her voice, putting on a happier face. There's no need to worry her, too.] Ah, Okay. I'll tell Nami a good story! what kind would you like to hear? ♥

I loved the flowers. Thank you. Um. And I'm doing a lot better.
I'm not sure, though. Why don't you tell me your favourite story?

My favorite story...Mm, there are so many I like. Uhm, er...let's see. I know one I'm particularly fond of. It's a very famous tale back home, known all throughout Nippon. In fact, the story traveled all the way from the main land to where I live up north, in Kamui. Mm, let's see if I can remember it correctly. [She clears her throat, and begins, her tone soft.]

...Heh~ Thank you, very much. But I hope you didn't do all that during the snowfall outside. It's falling heavily, and I could have dug it up with my friends' help. You're a very kind person, Master Mori, I'll be sure to tell Salt as well. Just, uhm--er...d-don't catch a cold, okay? I would feel just awful if you did while digging up the house...

(ooc: Derp, I just had a thought, did they make the furniture plans during the 4th Wall event they don't remember? If so, then I can still make this work.)

A-All right...Thank you so much for everything, you're much too kind to us.
[OOC: Oh, crud, I think it WAS during the fourth wall. Uh, if you have a backup plan, though, go for it! .o\]
