I have a new home. It's a one bedroom and den. I bought the place two years ago before I went back to school. It is finally finished. I took possession last Saturday.

Congrats!!! I didn't know you had bought a house. It looks cute...I bet it'll look awesome when you get all your stuff in there.

Why did it take 2 years to be ready? Did you have a bunch of renovations done? It looks good if you did...all new and clean and shiny!

I think she bought it before they even started building the building, so to speak. It was an early investment.

Ahhhh, that's cool. When/if I ever buy a house, I would love to buy it before construction, so I could maybe have input as to what goes into it. My cousins bought a house that was like one of those pre-fab things where they got to pick out all the details, and I thought that was pretty awesome. :)
