Sore Rumps and All

Hello again! This is another very long update...I might have to figure out a new way of updating these families because I honestly prefer smaller posts dedicated to particular events or themes as opposed to these huge posts of the family's entire week. But for now, enjoy Week 3 for the Dingle family!

Keri Dingle is hugely pregnant once again. And even though neither of the Dingle parents are family sims, they both seem pretty happy about having this second baby.

Their first child if you remember, is Dewey Dingle. A fun-loving little blond boy who enjoys nothing more than playing with his parents and his toys. He inherited Harvey's cute freckles and gray eyes, and his mother's blond hair.

Dewey became a child this week and at the end of the week he's only 2 days away from becoming a teen. He will join his best friend, Max Clock, at the Little Hollywick High School during Week 4.

But for right now he is still a student at Little Hollywick Elementary where he is a B+ student. He greets his mommy with a hug after he gets off of the school bus everyday. However, he prefers to do his homework down in his father's secret basement. The light of the bubbling cauldron is much better than natural light anyway. Perhaps Dewey will follow in his father's evil footsteps one day.

The new baby turns out to be a girl! Yay, that brings our 'hood total up to 2 girls and 5 boys (and I'm not counting the newest Clock baby which technically isn't born until Week 4). I am predicting that she will end up marrying one of the many Clock boys when she grows up. But anyway, yay for another girl! They named her Susie Dingle.

In totally random and unrelated news, Stephen Clock appears to be very angry with Keri for some reason. So angry that he stole the Dingle's invisible newspaper. I have no idea why he's mad at Keri. There's been no fighting or other reason for it. Perhaps he's upset about Harvey threatening him and he's just projecting that anger onto Keri. Who knows?

In other news, the Dingles built a porch onto the side of their house. The really needed a painting easel, and since there was no room for it inside, they built out! The porch also gives Harvey easy access to his fishing pond.

Anyway, back to Susie, the newest Dingle. She had her toddler birthday, and the top picture is proof that even evil warlocks can be good fathers. As you can see, Susie inherited all of the same traits that her big brother Dewey did. Blond hair from Keri, freckles and gray eyes from Harvey.

As you can see, in addition to her super cute yawning, Susie also gets tons of attention from all members of the Dingle family. Including her very green daddy.

No need to adjust your monitors. Harvey finally jumped all the way over to the dark side and has turned a nice shade of fluorescent green. He calls Rebecca Carr (the evil witch who turned him) to ask her about this. "You didn't tell me about the skin thing...not cool," he says.

This makes fire number 3, which earns us 1 spot open in the Law Enforcement career track. I'm not sure who's going to take it yet, but it's there. And just for my own record-keeping, we also only need 1 more burglary for another spot. Still 3 electrocutions to go though.

Susie became a child on the last day of Week 3. And there's some pictures of her new "big girl" bedroom. This room all started with those awesome striped curtains. I've been dying to use them. Hee.

Susie and Dewey are really good friends. They get along really well, and since they're both kids right now they honestly look like twins. They have to be the sweetest siblings in the history of the world. Poor Harvey feels left out sometimes, since the kids prefer to play with each other now and tend to neglect their parents. Even evil warlocks feel lonely sometimes.

Get ready for alien abduction spam. You knew it was coming!

So, Harvey finally met some aliens! He wasn't happy about it, but I just had to have my evil warlock of the town keep with the supernatural and have an alien baby. Although, I'm not sure if you're supposed to hear a lullabye sound when they come back, but I sure didn't. If he's not preggers with an alien spawn, I'm gonna be mad!

As a side note, aren't his boots awesome?

And there you have it...Week 3 for the Dingles. I plan on posting a quickie update about the children of Little Hollywick. This is mainly because I messed up the timing of these weeks and it may be confusing during Week 4 when you see little Sam Gates is still a toddler while Max Clock is a teen and Dewey Dingle is a child. Especially if you read this post when they were all the same age. Anyhoo, I might do this every week anyway to help everyone keep up with the explosion of this hood's residents. I'll also be posting a Resident info page of sorts to help with that also. And after all that, Week 4 will begin! Thanks for reading.
