Your university updates are always full of happenings! Much excitement in the way of relationship and babies. I'm glad they all passed their exams this time! Poor Ella. Even having to see your friends having a healthy baby just after losing your own, it must be awful. (Although I love the realism and drama this includes, so all your readers can get emotionally attached to her.) I hope she won't feel like it is her own fault! Hopefully she and Jimmy can try again more consciously when they have finished university :)
Ella was pretty close to failing during the first semester. I had her working so hard to at least pull a C, that a couple of her needs dropped to far and she miscarried right after coming home from the exam. So sad!!
I love your story! :) I have a question though, how do you get the babies to leave with the students when they graduate? I made them have a baby before and the baby was left alone at uni lol :P
I've heard of that problem before, but I'm not sure why it doesn't happen to me. Maybe because my students are not really at a Uni hood. I have built a custom Uni in my Downtown hood. But my sims have no problem taking their babies with them when they leave the campus housing...
I actually heard that being able to take your baby with you is a feature of InTeen. (Haven't tried it myself--I love my other hacks too much to try and mess around with it.)

These Uni students have driven me mad with all these pregnancies and babies. And they just can't decide who they want to be with, so they keep hopping around. Like Dewey Dingle, for example. He still autonomously gets romantic with Ella and Gloria and Mia! Sometimes playing by what your sims want is a hard thing to do!
Your Uni students certainly never lead dull lives! Poor Ella, I like the realism the feature adds (I have it too) but it is still heart breaking. It was nice to end with Finn being welcomed by his extended family :)
Never dull, that's for sure! I want to start building some "major buildings" similar to my career lots, so that I can focus on the academics a little more. Maybe I'll do that with the next group of Uni students!

I was really looking forward to an Ella/Jimmy baby. They're such a cute couple, and I just know they'd make adorable babies. We'll see what happens with them now.
I don't use Squinge's hacks for it, I use Lion/Argon's hacks at MATY (found right here). I didn't even know Squinge had any for Uni!
If there's a part of my game that I really hate playing, I always try to find a way to add some spice to it. It's worked well for me so far!
OMG Dee, you quite possibly just made my day :) I didn't know about those hacks, I'll have to try them out ASAP and if they are compatible with Squinge's...! The one thing I needed was a way to get dormies to come and live in a dorm I placed while testing it at Downtown! If that works, I'm going to jump for joy :D Thanks so much for the link!
I almost forgot... Is Jimmy a playable or did you turn him into townie/dormie first?
Jimmy's not a playable yet. He was still living at SSU (I think that's the one he's from) and just happened to walk by the LHU dorms in my Downtown Hollywick. Ella met him and the rest is history! Now that they're graduated, he will be a playable. But I really just cheated him through Uni; I didn't fully play him through the rest of his time. Lol, I was too impatient for that.
Let me know if you need any help with that hack set. It can be confusing at first, but stick with it because once you figure it out it really changes your Uni experience!
