Beginnings and Endings
It's finally senior year for the current bunch of Uni students, although technically Mia Marsh has an extra semester after this year due to her Academic Probation. Let's see how the Uni students spent their last year at LHU!
Ella Clock couldn't hide her little secret anymore. Her belly was getting so big that it was plainly clear she was pregnant. It was finally time to tell Jimmy Phoenix, the father of her baby, that they were going to be parents. He took the news pretty well which made Ella very happy.
She told him about her concerns with being pregnant in her final year of Uni. The final year is always the hardest and requires a lot of work. Jimmy was very supportive and told her that they'd get through it together.
Ella found herself in a very confusing time. She loved Jimmy, but she wouldn't say she was over the moon about him. And he was so great with the news about the baby. But she was panicking about the whole situation more than she was letting on. She found a comforting presence in fellow dormmate, Roger Belby, and they found themselves in a whirlwind romance. But for Ella it wasn't anything real. She was just scared and confused, and Roger was there to make her forget about it all.
Jimmy was still the man she wanted to be with. Seeing how down Ella was about everything, he really tried to do things to cheer her up. He came over more often, brought her presents, and even started wearing hats because he knew she loved them!
Enough about those two for now. Stuart Downie is really looking forward to graduating, mainly so that he can see more of Rose Sheffield, the love of his life! She lives out in the rural country of Little Hollywick and is busy with her new adult life, so they don't get to see each other very much. But occasionally she comes out to LHU with her sister to visit.
And when she does come out to visit, much kissing ensues! These two have a high natural 3 bolt chemistry, and they've both had the want to get engaged to each other for a few simdays now.
Rose also makes sure that Stuart is staying on top of his studies and getting good grades. She was always very diligent in her studies during her time at LHU, and she expects the same of her hopeful-spouse!
Rose's sister, Gloria Sheffield, is still kind of dating Dewey Dingle. But she's been noticing a change in Dewey's behavior. He's a little more distant now than he was when she was still living in the dorms with him. (Gloria flunked out of college on simday 41.) But she thinks it's just because Dewey's about to become a father, since his baby with Mia is due any day now.
The student's first senior semester was coming to an end, and Ella Clock really felt the pressure of the upcoming exams. She had been having a rough time in her classes this semester due to being increasingly pregnant and dealing with love woes, so she had to really kick it into gear at the end. She just couldn't fail this semester or she would be put on academic probation and have to repeat the semester!
With all of the hard work she put in during the week of finals, Ella did indeed pass the semester. But unfortunately, she over did it and she ended up having a miscarriage. It was just out of the blue. She had a very normal and healthy pregnancy up until that point, so when the cramps started she had no idea how it could be happening.
She was completely devastated, but a small part of her was a little relieved. And of course, she felt guilty about feeling that way. Her good friend from childhood, Dewey Dingle, was there for her in her distress. Probably because he almost knew what it felt like to lose a baby, since his pregnant ex-lover almost had a miscarriage last year.
Ella immediately had Jimmy come over so she could tell him the sad news. Jimmy was heartbroken. The idea of having a baby with Ella had really grown on him.
He was worried about what would happen to their relationship now that they lost the baby, but things slowly started to return to normal. Ella regained some happiness, and the young couple decided to stay together.
Ella's miscarriage really affected Dewey Dingle. He remembered how terrifying it was when Mia told him during their junior year that she almost had a miscarriage. Since then he's been staying over at her place a lot to help her out in any way he can. With the baby's birth coming soon, Dewey is really thankful that Mia and the baby are doing so much better.
Mia's pregnancy continued to be healthy, and she finally gave birth to a baby boy! She and Dewey decided to name him Finn. Dewey was not happy to hear that she wasn't going to give the baby his last name. Mia figures since the two of them aren't married and she's not sure if they ever will be married, then the baby needed to have her last name. So his name is Finn Marsh. Finn has Dewey's light skintone, but Mia's brown hair and brown eyes.
Mia invited all of her Uni friends over to meet the new baby. It was nice to see them all, since she didn't get much time to see them the last couple of years. It was hard being pregnant and keeping her grades up.
Mia isn't sure where she stands with Dewey. They're both overwhelmingly happy about the birth of their son, but she's still not sure she wants to be with him. They try to sneak around with their affection since Dewey is still dating Gloria, who just so happens to be Mia's best friend. Maybe they'll figure it all out now that their baby is here.
Meeting Dewey and Mia's new baby was really rough on poor Ella. She had just lost her baby not long before Finn was born. But she tried to put on a happy face for her friends.
After the initial joy of Finn's birth started to wear off, it was back to the grindstone for Mia. Only now she had a baby to take care of, and nanny bills to pay. Her grades weren't spectacular so she wasn't getting much money in the way of scholarships. She needed to find another way to bring in some money!
So Mia, being the resourceful gal that she is, decided to write a parenting book for young people. It took her the rest of the semester, but she finally finished it and it became a best-seller over night!
And she still had Dewey around to help out. Now that Finn had finally arrived, Dewey was over at her place a lot more often. He constantly helped her clean and fixed things around the house. He watched Finn for her while she was in class, which helped cut down on the nanny bills.
And then there was the big day when they took baby Finn over to meet Dewey's family. Keri and Harvey were not happy when they first heard that their son had gotten some girl pregnant, but now that they could see and hold the baby, they were in hog heaven!
Baby Finn was a big hit at the Dingle household. Even Susie Dingle showed some excitement over her new nephew. I don't think Mia and Dewey will have any problems finding a babysitter!

After they first became romantic, Roger Belby rolled the want to get engaged to Ella. Lol, so out of the blue! They don't have a high attraction to each other at all, a low 1 bolt in fact. But she's the only one he's ever rolled that want for! I really think it's just because they live together, so I'm not putting much stock in it. But still silly, nonetheless.
I felt so awful about what happened to Ella's baby and about how sad she was after it, that when a genie lamp showed up on the lot, I let her have all 3 wishes. And I let her wish for "peace of mind", so at least she'll be somewhat happy for the rest of her life! Poor thing!

--Ella and Roger's little fling was totally unexpected. I really think it was just because they live together and have a slight attraction (only 1 low bolt). I don't think she'd really be with him if it weren't for that, so I probably won't let it happen again!
--I gave Jimmy a makeover when Ella was pregnant because they only have a 1 bolt relationship as well, although they are each other's highest attractions as of now. I thought they'd want to make things work since they had a baby coming, hence Jimmy changing his appearance to match her turn-ons. After the miscarriage, I'm just not sure what to do with these two!
--The miscarriage was not on purpose, I promise! I've never had that happen before, so I was very sad.
