I'm still trying to decide whether all them growing up with that nose would be terrible or hilarious. PS: Liam is possibly the CUTEST child I have ever seen. Looking at his picture just made me want to smile. I may want to steal him from you. Can't wait for the upcoming week!

You won't want to steal him after he grows up! LOL, I've always thought that he is a clone of Max...and you see what he turned into when he hit YA. I'm pretty sure he has that big nose surprise too. I think all of the Clock kids do, actually. But I can always have them get plastic surgery and then make the results genetic in SimPE. We'll just have to wait and see!

Yay! So good to see all the kids together. Shame about Max's nose... I love Danielle's vest, so colorful! Eeek, chubby cheeks! *pinches them* Can't wait to see a college update, I'm curious to see how you will work it out!

Well college will be on a separate rotation than the actual hood. It is all based on when the kids have their birthday. So I will play Max and Danielle until their senior year and then I will play the Clock and Dingle families, sending Ella and Dewey to college the day of their birthday. Then after I finish those two families, I will go back to Uni and play 1 year with all 4 kids (plus Stuart Downie the townie), graduate Max and Danielle, and then play the rest of Ella/Dewey/Stuart's time. I think they'll still have enough days in the round to complete all 4 years. Then each of the graduates gets played as adults in the hood to make up for whatever days they missed.

So Max and Danielle are in college from simdays 36-39, and then I'll play them as adults in the town from days 40-42. And that keeps them aging in sync with the rest of the town. Basically 1 uni year = 1 simday = 1 real life year.

I just re-read that and it sounds a lot more complicated than it really is! Lol, it'll make sense as I start to play and post updates!

It does look a little complicated, but I'm sure I'll catch up once I see it in action!

Still in awe over how organized you keep everything.

I know you are not excited by Max's nose, but I think he still looks cute.

Yeah I think he's different for sure, and not in a terrible way...but he just doesn't look like Max to me anymore! So if I can figure out how, I'm probably going to fiddle around with plastic surgery and fix him!

The only way to fix the kids is indeed surgery + making it genetic. Assuming you can see which features are from which parent, though, it shouldn't be too hard. Sim features don't really blend, so the kids inherit each trait from either one parent or the other, as in dad's nose, mum's mouth, etc. The broken face templates tend to produce either the elf face or face template 2 in the broken life stages, obviously #2 in your case, so you can use the face #2 features in the surgery menu to fix your sim kids (assuming you want them to look like they do now and not like their face #21 dad), especially the nose.

Good luck!

Hmmm, so there is a way for me to fix them in SimPE but still have them look like they did before? Even though they're not totally face 2? Mind if I send you a message about this? I have a couple of questions!

There is. :) It's a bit of work, that's all. I did this for the broken premade sims that weren't straight face templates, but had been adjusted/were genetic mixes ( ... )

Ooooh, I see! Ok, so I have extracted them and fixed them all up in Body Shop. I plopped them down into a temporary hood, and now I'm all set to go into SimPE and extract the facial features...except I'm not sure how to do that. I'm going to do some searching and see if there's a tutorial out there for it. If I have any questions, I'll PM you! Thanks for your tremendous help!

Max looks way different! I didn't know about the broken face template. I downloaded the fix, it's amazing what we all learn from one another. I'm sorry that Max and his four sibling are a little broked. ~sadness~

The kids all look really great! That Russel is such a cutie!

I didn't know about it either, but it's now fixed and I am very relieved! Although he was supposed to have that big nose his whole life, and had he been born with it I would have kept it. But he just looked too different from what I was used to, so I changed it back!
