It's time for the start of another round in Little Hollywick, and that means back to school for the growing school-age population. Let's take a look at the kids at the start of week 6.
Here's the whole group, including Uni students. There's a total of 15 kids, including 4 townies whom the playable kids have befriended. As a refresher, we first met these townies in either
this post or at
the prom.
Max Clock and his girlfriend Danielle Pons are starting their first year of college on the first day of week 6. They will be in college for simdays 36-39, unless they flunk out or drop out first! And as a side note, I don't know what happened to Max!! He has been so cute for his whole life, and then he turns into YA and gets slammed with that giant nose! That's his dad's nose so I know where it came from, but I really thought he had lucked out and not inherited that honker. It sure didn't look like he had it. But now I'm worried about the rest of the Clock kids because all of their noses look like Max's did before he became a YA. Uh oh. On the up-side, at least Danielle is surprisingly pretty!
These students are all of the teenagers in Little Hollywick, plus 3 townies. We'll take a closer look at each of them as we break them down into actual ages.
Dewey Dingle, Ella Clock, and townie Stuart Downie are the oldest of the teenagers at the start of week 6. (Stuart earned a chance to become a playable when he had a little fling with Ella Clock during
week 5, even though we haven't seen very much of him.) They have 3 simdays left until they head off to college, which means that they will join Max and Danielle on simday 39. They'll only spend one year in college with them however, because that will be Max and Danielle's senior year. But it should be a fun year nonetheless! They will be Uni students from simdays 39-42, assuming they want to go and have met the acceptance requirements of course.
The next oldest group of teens includes Huntley Clock, Oliver Clock, Susie Dingle, and townie Annie Thayer (Huntley's girlfriend). These teens have 9 simdays to go before they head off to college, which means they will not start until early week 7. I was hoping Ella and Susie were close enough in age to be in college together, but they're not. I really didn't realize there was such a big age gap between the two best friends (6 whole simdays or 6 years to us!).
The youngest group of teens at the start of week 6 include Sam Gates and Celeste Sellers. These two just became teens and have 13 simdays to go before they head off to Uni. That means roughly the end of week 7 will be when they have their YA birthday. So Sam is quite a bit younger than his current love interest, Susie Dingle (a whole 4 years!), and will most likely not be in college at the same time as her.
Next up is our combined Elementary & Middle School. At the start of week 6 we have Liam Clock, Charlie Clock, and E.T. Dingle.
Liam Clock will be moving to high school pretty soon as he only has 1 simday left before becoming a teen.
Charlie Clock and E.T. Dingle just became children and have 7 simdays left to go before their teen birthdays. So they will not be moving up to high school until the start of week 7.
There's only one little guy in daycare at the start of week 6 and that is the utterly adorable Russell Wells. His cheeks get me every time! He has 4 simdays to go until he becomes a child. He'll join Charlie and E.T. in elementary school in the middle of this week.
And there we have all of the school age kids at the start of week 6. There's also 2 babies on the way (from Celia Gates and Joanna Lightfoot), which will become daycare students in the middle of the week. The next update will most likely be Max and Danielle's first 3 years in Uni. Their last year will be played after the Dingle update when Dewey, Ella, and Stuart will join them.
